Online Shopping in Nigeria

Yep, It's true, the online shopping thing is also a big one in Nigeria. There are so many of them. You can sit in the comfort of your homes and offices and order things from clothes, shoes, phones, laptops to food stuff, yes food stuff, you heard me right.....and voila.....it is delivered right to your door step. The coolest part is that you can pay on delivery, so for those of us who like to feel stuff before buying, no wahala at all. We are sure getting there, slow, but steady. Find a link to the video and dont forget to share your thoughts about it on my blog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amzi6D2Ff8s Peace.

Moringa, Food Supplement...Money

We recently did this story on Moringa. Known as the "Tree of Life," it is fast becoming a cash crop in Nigeria as people are devoting hectares of land just to cultivate the moringa plant. A researcher at the Yaba college of Technology is currently working on how the plant can cure diabetes and cancer, yeah, we need that break through. This particular farm we visited in Abeokuta produces soap, hair cream, body cream, tea bags, oil, powder and so much more, and I got some for myself. For now, all I can tell you is that it is a good daily supplement, whether you are taking the seeds or the powder. And for those who may want to go into the cultivation, its a cool venture because people are getting more aware of the medicinal benefit of the plant, and ofcourse, every thing about the plant is money as nothing is a waste. But don't forget that you have to pass some basic NAFDAC requirement for you to process for consumption. Please click on the link below to see the video
