World AIDS Day 2013 - Getting To Zero

So the 2013 World AIDS Day is over, but this does not mean that the fight has stopped, it still continues. Friends Africa, a pan African organisation was able to test over 3000 people over the week, as part of efforts to ramp up awareness and stop new infections. They also organised a football game that saw ex Nigerian soccer stars, musicians, comedians and Nollywood actors playing together in an effort to stop stigmatization. Hundreds gathered at a mini stadium in Lagos to watch the soccer match, cheering for their favourites, while others visited the test centres set up near the pitch for people to check their status.
