The Herbal Alternative

Most of us are secretly yearning to lose a few pounds but it just never really happens. We pray, we plan, we promise but arghhhhhhh, nothing. We just wish we could eat and drink all we can and still look trim, but it's not really possible to eat your cake and have it. Quincy Ayodele of Quincy Herbal Slimmers is doing a good job of using herbs to help women lose excess weight. She used to be on the large side years back, but you can never tell now, she looks fabulous. During the course of filming this story, we went to a herbal market, saw the sellers, the carcass, birds and things I don't know their names and uses, ........ let me just say it was a relief going over to Quincy's, the ambience, the hygiene level, the professionals who make sure your vitals are okay, everything just had a touch of class. Black African Dolls

Do you remember the blue , red and green plastic dolls that we used as kids especially for those of us that were born in the 80's? I got amused about it when I grew older, wondered what on earth inspired those coloured dolls, they would have been better if they were made in black plastic. Well, after a while, the Western inspired ones flooded the market, we saw the yellow sisi dolls, with blond and red hair, and blue and green eyes. Okay, our own Nigerian entrepreneur, Taofick Okoya, decided to create African inspired dolls, and I give him kudos for that, at least our kids will play with black dolls. These dolls are African themed, with African names, African attires, and some of them also have their hair made in threads or braids.
